This book may have saved my life, May 25, 2005
Reviewer: A reader from Seattle, WA. United States
I am a reserved person and was going to follow my doctor's recommendation regarding major surgery that I needed. After reading this book, I realized that I needed to find the best doctor.
Partly due to this book, I am now scheduled for surgery by a specialist in this field at a major cancer treatment center who is a lot more careful that the cancer does not spread to other parts of my body after the surgery. The first recommendation was for a general surgeon at a general hospital. My current choice is costing no more money then the first and I only ended up waiting two additional weeks.
Listen to Mr. Nelsen and get the best doctor. Your life may depend on it.

This is a great place to start. Really a helpful book. Not too long. I recently found out that I have Thyroid cancer and it was really helpful in showing me how to "start the process". Read this wonderful book and go from there.

Read This Book before starting any treatment for cancer, January 27 , 2006
Reviewer: A Reader (New York)
My husband was diagnosed with cancer recently and as any desperate wife, I began reading whatever material I could get my hands on. What I like about Ten Commandments For Surviving Cancer is that it is short, written in plain English and a step-by-step guide to making all the right decisions before starting a cancer treatment plan. The battle against cancer is a tough battle and the decisions made before starting a treatment plan is vital to surviving cancer. Robert gets the very important point across that we should find the best medical treatment. We should not believe everything one doctor is recommending and not be intimidated by doctors in getting a second opinion. There is usually no second chance if a cancer is misdiagnosed or the treatment plan is wrong

This book is a powerful weapon in the battle to beat cancer. Robert reminds us that "hope is not a strategy, and faith is not enough," we must have the right game plan. Those with the best doctors and medical treatment win.
Thank you Robert for guiding people through cancer.

The Power of Prayer, May 10, 2006
Reviewer: Rev. James Carter, Charleston, South Carolina
I was pleased that that the seventh and eighth commandments in Ten Commandments For Surviving Cancer pointed out the power of prayer. Real healing always takes place from within. The Spirit within us is the true healer. Physician's sure hands may perform surgery, and medicines may provide ideal circumstances for health, but it is the Spirit that affects the healing. Mr. Nelsen points out the importance of practicing a daily Prayer for Healing and positive results from having loved ones pray for us when fighting the battle against cancer.
